Short stories aren't allowed on GR unless they have been published separately, but I found an audio edition and added a librarian note to that effect so that this one will stay.

Added the 2017 award.

Patty, if you read my post, it clearly says this story will stay. I'm not sure what your complaint is.

Sorry. - I wasn’t complaining. I just wondered why it was necessary to find an audio version in order to allow the story to stay on Goodreads. I thought the Caine Prize publication online was sufficient. I don’t want to mess up the system!

Maybe I'm wrong, but my understanding that a pdf isn't acceptable.

A pdf is fine, if it is produced and hosted by someone with the rights to do so. Usually that means the author or publisher.
