I found this book to be captivating and somewhat horrifying at the same time. The plot is well thought out and executed from the beginning, with Katniss being the last to know. The descriptions are easy to imagine (but that may be because I saw the movie?). One of my favorite scenes is the interview where Katniss twirls and her dress transforms from a wedding dress to a mockingjay, and the reaction of everyone.
This second part of the trilogy sets up the third beautifully, and left me wanting to read about the rebellion.
