This challenge will run between very specific dates: July 3-August 11. Considered a period of the hottest summer temperatures. There are some interesting historical details which can be read via the address below...

This is a one book challenge. Read a book with the hottest title you can find. ;-)
Anything related to heat will do.

For example:

Heat Wave
Catching Fire
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
The Girl Who Played with Fire
Burning Bright
Daughter of Smoke & Bone
Love in the Time of Global Warming
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff ... and it's all small stuff: Simple Ways to Keep the Little Things from Taking Over Your Life

I read The Blazing World by Margaret Cavendish for this one. It is one of the earliest science fiction fantasy novels. The author is present as herself in the book. It was an interesting read, but very old-fashioned language and spelling.

I finished Fire Song. It's a paranormal with Dragons, Drakes, Vampires and Gargoyles, as well as a murder mystery. It was just ok. The writing was overly simple and the detective work was pretty much non existent.
