Daniel Fielding (dmflyingaway) | 6 comments According to goodreads there are two editions of this book. The one edition has the correct title, no picture, and incorrect description. The other edition has both the incorrect title and incorrect description.

Thanks Olivia. This version of the cover might be better?: https://www.nyu.edu/projects/ollman/b...

Here is the description from the back of the book:

"The present volume is a collection of essays on socialist pedagogy by Professors Norton (Vassar College) and Ollman (New York University). Studies in Socialist Pedagogy is not an ordinary book. As its title suggests, the essays provide a socialist (i.e., Marxist and radical) perspective of higher education in capitalist society...a significant...analysis of higher education." --Persepctive

"The book includes 22 essays. Five by the illustrious dead (Lenin, Mao, etc.), but almost all the rest are by Marxists who now teach or who have recently taught in American colleges and universities...Studies in Socialist Pedagogy also brings a rich variety of practical studies for teaching everything from physics to poetics to black studies...I recommend the book to all teachers and prospective teachers who want, through their work, to help understand and change the world." --Politics and Education

Olivia (livka) | 7927 comments Hi,
we can't use this source as it does not display the ISBN.

Edit: I just noticed there is also a back cover with ISBN attached in your source, so I will be able to use it after all.

Also, we can't use the description from the back of the book as reviews are not allowed in description field.
I changed the description to:
A collection of essays on socialist pedagogy by Professors Norton (Vassar College) and Ollman (New York University).
