Marja Verschoor-Meijers (marja_meijers) | 449 comments I just love reading (auto)biographies. they inspire and encourage me. It is a privilege to learn from the ones who have gone before us. So, I am curious... which (auto)biography impacted you and why?

Susan (susanrohrer) | 284 comments This book isn't the true story of a person's entire life, but I was so moved by CS Lewis's A Grief Observed for the way it gives the reader a window into Lewis's season of mourning his beloved wife.

As a fuller autobiography, I was also greatly impacted by working with Lucinda Russell on her sometimes harrowing but truly inspirational life story, Healer of My Soul. It's so encouraging to see how she was brought through such deep waters in faith. The very real way Jesus helped her throughout her lifelong struggle to survive is such an encouragement.

A Grief Observed by C.S. Lewis Healer of My Soul - Christian Counseling Memoirs Through Deep Waters with Jesus by Lucinda Russell

Marja Verschoor-Meijers (marja_meijers) | 449 comments I am currently reading Marilyn Hickey's book: it's not over until you win. A great inspiration and so encouraging! That woman traveled all over the world to preach the gospel and hold healing services, mostly in Muslim nations. Go figure.

It's been a long time since I read it, but I found this book very moving too.
