As you all know Skeleton Crew is a collection of 22 short stories. For the discussions for this book we have decided to split the discussion into 4 topics (we thought 22 individual topics would be to much!). Two of these topics will discuss five of the short stories while the other two will discuss six short stories. Please let us know your thoughts about this divide.

Please discuss:
- The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands
- Beachworld
- The Reaper's Image
- Nona
- For Owen
-Survivor Type

The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands
This was really good and intriguing and I liked how the suspense grows throughout. Kind of thought it had Picture of Dorian Grey vibes, especially with the writing style. I'm a bit confused with the ending when George points out Stevens mole and how similar it is to his grandfather. Is Stevens and his grandfather actually the same person?

Quite enjoyed this short and sweet (probably wrong choice of word there). I won't be thinking about sand the same way again.

The Reaper's Image
Intriguing but too short. Nothing really happens.

This was a good creepy dark pyschological story.

For Owen
Personified fruit? What the hell? I couldn't make much sense of this poem

Survivor Type
Found this story very disturbing and twisted. This was very definitely a gory horror story.
