Thresk | 3 comments I tried to merge the above edition with its eBook entry, which has the correct cover, but I don't have librarian permissions.

Here is the book's Amazon link, and here's a direct link to the Amazon-hosted image.

Thank you!

Dobby (dobby0390) | 4917 comments Cover added from Amazon. Thank you for the Amazon book page link; we cannot use the image link, as we must verify that the Amazon edition and the Goodreads edition are the same.

A couple of helpful hints for future requests:

— In Goodreads-speak, "merging" means to delete a book and move its reviews and ratings to a target book. That happens when there are duplicate records of the same book, for example. Because one of these editions is a paperback and the other an ebook, they would not be candidates for merging.

— It is against policy to use the cover of one format for another record. Using the ebook cover for the paperback edition would be against policy.

— When you provide a Goodreads link, please link to the book record page itself, not the book discussion page.

You're very welcome, and thank you for providing the links we need.

As you'll note, the ebook cover is in every respect identical to the paperback cover.

— When you provide a Goodreads link, please link to the book record page itself, not the book discussion page.

Since you seem to be making a distinction between two page types, what is a book's "record page"? If the link I furnished above is a book's "discussion" page, there is no reference anywhere in the body of any book's discussion page to a second, "record" page, nor is the term "record page" defined anywhere in Help Topics.

Some clarification on the terminology would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Whether or not that is true, we cannot use one edition's cover for a different edition.
