Sidney Sheldon is one of the greats. This book, although dated by today's standards, still takes the reader into the unknown field of phychoanalysis with aplomb. The plot seems a bit thin at times and the ending a bit disappointing, but overall a good escapist read.

This was the first book I read by Sheldon, and I enjoyed his writing so much I decided to read everything he had written. Master of the Game was my favorite.
