Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments Back from vacation where I finished An Irish Country Doctor, a light and humorous book. Three and a half stars, rounded up, and my review.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments Also finished The Queen of Bedlam - four stars and my review.

And the third book in that series, Mister Slaughter - another four stars and my review.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments I finished An Irish Country Village on audiobook - three and half stars...my short review.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments Continuing with my streak of mood reads, I've finished the following:

Another enjoyable David Baldacci book, Split Second - four stars and my review.

Marked - four stars

The Fourth Monkey - three stars and my review. I liked the present day portion of the story but didn't care for the flashback-via-diary portion.

Great to see you enjoyed the rest of the books in this series. I was hoping to get to the second book in July, but another Malazan BR is just around the corner for me.

I read this when it first came out and loved it! The next in the series is almost as good :)

I didn't get to it this month but I'm hopeful for August. I have some heavier books so I'll need something light and uplifting.

Barb It's certainly light -- and at times, laugh-out-loud funny :)
