Good day Tina! I'll be ordering the book for this coming september event. It's been a long time since i've met you guys and before the year ends i really would like to join you in this event, first time collab with another book reader group.
I think I'll go and get a head-start on this since the book is free right now for Kindle Unlimited subscribers :) So I hope I finish it while my 30-day free trial is still active. Hehe.
Oh wow, I might end up finishing this before finishing Fear of Flying (or any of the other books I started this month for that matter) :o What a lovely story (so far).

Hi Louize, Busy for the past couple of months.
Starting this thread for group order/strategies for everyone to have a copy of the September F2F book, The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. This is for our joint discussion with Flips Flipping Pages.
Here are our options:
BORROW:
There are several members in this group who already has a copy of the book. If you are willing to lend your book to someone else in the group, please holler so we can put you on the list, and we can figure out a way to pass the copies around. Of course, you would have to read the book first, so please figure out a way for you to read it and still lend it, if you are willing to.
BUY:
The book is available from Fully Booked in hardbound, Php 1,148 each. If you have a Fully Booked discount card, you can get 10% off (in cash). We are going to try to set up a group order of this with Fully Booked, which will hopefully get us a bigger discount.
