This came due from the library sooner than expected. So I'm going to start Monday night, the 9th.
No problem, I own the physical books so I'll start whenever I finish my current physical reads. I'm kind of sad that this will be the end...
Hey, Have you tried the Arcane Ascension series yet? With Sufficiently Advanced Magic and On the Shoulders of Titans?

I have not. I see you gave book one 5*'s so I added it to my TBR.

Yay! I loved it, it's a fun fantasy and the official genre is Lit:RPG. It's great for in between all of those more grim fantasies we read.
BTW, let me know if you want to BR it at some point, I got book 2 and I'm planning on reading in the next couple of months. I may want to reread this one first. I know our buddy reads of this season are ending this month.
If you're willing to do a re-read I could do any time from the middle of August to the first ten days of September as a start date. I have a lot of BR's during that period but they are all audio. This one I think I'll read.
I couldn't put it down and finished. Truly epic. The author never taking us where I expected. I don't re-read often but this is on that list because I believe it will be even better the second time picking up on missed items. I'm still confused by certain pieces but what a series.
Wow, I'm just starting. Planning on powering through it this weekend. I've been busy with travelling for job interviews, which left me with time for my audiobooks only. I'll be happy when my schedule calms down again.
I'll post my thoughts as I read, so expect posts all weekend.

No worries, good luck with the interviews. I think you'll find this hard to put down.

Thanks! I got offered the first job I interviewed for. So I’m in a good place. Can’t wait to get into it.

Thanks!
So I started over lol. I love the intros to these books. Always so creative and unexpected.

He just keeps coming up with original ideas and perspectives! I’m loving this one.
I’m glad I’m getting some of the answers to questions I had about what else was going on at the time of the wallfacer plans, and about hibernation being so accessible.
Also, my heart broke for Tianming.

Yes! That was some wonderful character development.

I'm not sure I get how the ships foiled the droplets. I think I get it with the 4 dimensions on a 3 dimensional plane, which was really interesting.
I didn't see..."
I decided that must be the Chinese author's writing being influenced by his political experiences. Many of the things that happened with the handling of the deterrence era were questionable to me as well. However, humans from that era are going to be different from us today, so maybe it does make sense.
I could have made a good wallfacer btw.
