Scott Harlan Ellison has died.

Although he hadn't been publicly active in some time, I still thought of him as one of the last bastions of quality and integrity in a declining society. He will be missed.

Scott Agreed completely. Him and Hitchens.

Todd Glaeser | 2 comments Harlan was the first author that I was driven to find and read everything he had written. It became tough in the 2000's, but always worthwhile.

I'm gonna miss looking for new books. I'll have to satisfy myself with looking for the books I'm missing.

There are so many stories by him that have influenced my thinking that listing them is impossible.

Thanks, Harlan!

Scott An Edge in My Voice and Sleepless Nights in the Procrustean Bed (which I have only ever seen in a university library) are both fantastic. There are still more that I haven't manage to get hold of (the TV and movie ones.)
