Thank you so much, Muriel :) I had to rely on my brother-in-law, Christian, who served in Afghanistan as a signal combat officer like my hero did... As for the app- that I just made up on a whim of what I thought would be fun and kind of helpful. We meet people in the weirdest places and how nice to have a mobile device to see how compatible you are before committing to a date... My favorite part in the book was how the senior citizens in the assisted living center my heroine volunteers at got into finally having a use for those fancy phones their grandkids sent them for birthdays- hehe- but I do love the idea of matchmaking and more and more people are finding love through online dating sites for sure!

Lola wrote: "I can't wait to read this! I like the app idea :), I haven't read many matchmaking stories so far."
Thanks, Lola :) It was fun thinking up the app and how it would work and now I have a software engineer friend that wants to make it... We're thinking of calling it MESH which is the name for the app in the book- I've heard of spin-off TV shows and movies for books, but having a spin-off app, that would be very cool!

I really hope readers enjoy it as much as I do! There are some deep issues in here, too... but it wouldn't be one of my books without them, would it? lol

That's so awesome that you know someone who will be making this app, it must be fun to see your stories come to life like that!

Awwwwwwww! That was the sweetest comment, EVER, Christy. I married my best friend, too and I agree that these make the best romances... and they are the kinds of relationships that are built to last!

Thank you, Cathy! I thought, given all the online dating that's happening, this would be a nice update and twist on the classic friends-to-love story :)

5 Stars for SOMEONE LIKE YOU! "I felt connected to both characters and felt their feelings - made me laugh and cry. This is a clean, beautiful story of two people falling in love."- Cat's Reviews http://bit.ly/1uBNTHg Buy now at Print Book: http://bit.ly/1oN6puy Kindle: http://amzn.to/1o9Bz0S B&N Nook: http://bit.ly/1gmWXxg Kobo: http://bit.ly/1qRegXE
Kayleigh Renshaw has come up with the idea for a brilliant "compatibility app," a new kind of matchmaking software. All she needs is a programmer to help her bring the idea to market…and she knows exactly who she wants. But Niall Walsh—a code whiz and her former best friend—has been avoiding her since he returned from Afghanistan. In spite of their history, and some sparks that go beyond friendship, he's proving reluctant…. Is it her, or is something darker holding him back?
