In Ireland you spend 8 years in primary school. You start when your 5 and leave when your 12 than you go to secondary school till you 17 or 18

I'm Montreal, Canada, you spend kindergarten to sixth grade in primary school, than your off to high school until grade eleven. After that, there are two years of Cegep and you're off to university

Ontario is different. Elementary(kindergarten to grade 8) then high school(grade 9-12) then university
