Fishface | 14150 comments I just stumbled across this: https://jttownsend.com/the-myth-of-th...

Says here that DNA evidence ELIMINATED Albert DeSalvo as the possible murderer of Mary Sullivan. Isn't that wrong? I thought it showed he killed her.

Caitlin (cmmcgee_writer92) | 210 comments I can't answer that question, but I do have a fun story about Albert DeSalvo. We have an uncle named Albert Desalvo (family is very Italian on the maternal side). My mother and her cousins used to think it was funny to go around high school in the 80s telling their friends that Albert Desalvo was their uncle... why I don't know since I doubt it was quite as relevant and noteworthy by then buuuuut

Diane in Australia | 640 comments Geez, I can find heaps of articles that say the DNA matched, and heaps more that say it did not, and others that say nothing was conclusively decided. Maybe we'll never really know.

Fishface | 14150 comments This is exactly why so many ppl think Sacco and Vanzetti are innocent. Some joker wrote a book saying the ballistics didn't match. But they did. Now how do we finger out who lied?
