I read this book as a young boy. I want to pass the book to a friend's kid. What I recall is there was a man who could not sleep. All of the sudden time is frozen. No one is moving. Some entity tells the guy he will give him the watch if he collects certain artifacts. He does, he gets the watch. At the end he realizes a newspaper article talking about a nuclear weapon test that day. Essentially time was frozen right before the world ended. As soon as he decides to unfreeze time, everything will end.

Ha! I remember the Twilight Zone episode like this too. https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3...
Maybe this list contains the book you're looking for. Good luck!
I watched part of the video. That was not it, but that episode looks interesting. I am wondering if it was part of a collection of short stories. I read it likely 30 years ago so the details are a little fuzzy.
I added plot details to the topic header. Feel free to update it (without spoilers) using the small "edit" link on the desktop website (not the mobile app).
All the time in the World by Arthur Clarke https://amazingstoriesmag.com/2015/05... Here's where it's collected http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cg...

Cristina (a book away from an episode of hoarders) wrote: "I saw something similar on an episode of the Twilight Zone except it was a woman MC.""A Little Peace and Quiet" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Littl... (the Wiki article mentions the story "All the Time in the World" which is the one that the OP is looking for, I think).
Here's a plot summary (with spoilers) of All the Time in the World by Arthur C. Clarke - Andy's suggestion:
