The new Logan McRae came out on the 14th June 2018.
Bang in time for Fathers day in the UK so I had my kids get me it if nothing else and it sits waiting to be read on my Kindle.
I'm savouring it and waiting to a dull moment later in the year to read it.

Anyway the blurb....
"Some things just won’t stay buried…

Logan McRae’s personal history is hardly squeaky clean, but now that he works for Professional Standards he’s policing his fellow officers.

When Detective Inspector Bell turns up dead in the driver’s seat of a crashed car it’s a shock to everyone. Because Bell died two years ago, they buried him. Or they thought they did.

As an investigation is launched into Bell’s stabbing, Logan digs into his past. Where has he been all this time? Why did he disappear? And what’s so important that he felt the need to come back from the dead?

But the deeper Logan digs, the more bones he uncovers – and there are people out there who’ll kill to keep those skeletons buried. If Logan can’t stop them, DI Bell won’t be the only one to die…"

UK Amazon Link - https://amzn.to/2yHe5wQ It is £8.39 on Kindle
Don't think it is out on Kindle in US yet and it's $25.99 for hardcover. Link is https://amzn.to/2lvoDpt

If you haven't read the series Beth then do. They are well written with humour as well and a good story line. Once I start a MacBride book it is hard to put down.

Beth Stewart | 641 comments I have read of few of them. Unlike other series where I binge on that author and read everything available, for some reason I read one McBride here, one there.... not sure why. I do enjoy the books, especially because the setting is Scotland!

Sandy | 499 comments Just finished. Some new characters plus Logan's job change keep it fresh but definitely a darker tone to the story.

Judith | 559 comments I am looking forward to reading it, especially if it is even darker.
