Deborah Johnson | 13 comments Thanks to everyone for participating in this week's thread--and especially to Martha who was such a great support and help! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Will be giving out a copy of The Secret of Magic. If you would like one, please jot down a note about your grandfather. I'll notify the winner through Messenger. Again, thank you for reading through this thread--and I look forward to being with you again.
All the best,
Deborah

Debbie | 78 comments Thanks for all of the great posts this past week!
My grandfather (Grandpa) was an incredible storyteller. He told one about befriending a mouse that lived in a barrel of wheat in his family’s barn. I loved it! He also wrote a few poems, and I have a copy of them. He passed coming up on 5 years ago and is dearly missed.

Thanks, Deborah! I have been off-line (in Montana) this week, but it has been a pleasure reading more about your novel and its beginnings. Can't wait for your next!
