Children's book on immigration. Little Mexican girl who's an immigrant(?). People start getting captured (by ICE?) and she helps someone. Possible spoilers ahead.

So I’m like 99% sure this book is in a little Mexicans’ girl pov and I think she was an immigrant and so at some point ice or something had came and started capturing people and the little girl ended up finding another little girl hiding in her basket where her family had kept some kind of food, beans i think, and even tho she didn’t like the little girl she told her to stay there so she wouldn’t get caught. That’s all I remember so if anyone knows the book please help me. I read it in like middle or elementary school.
