Trollope is so prolific! I have never even heard of The Golden Lion! How exciting!

message 4: by Rosemarie (new)

Rosemarie | 217 comments The Golden Lion of Granpere is a stand alone novel set in Alsace-Lorraine, and was originally published anonymously while Trollope was writing his major works.

I just read that this week. It’s one of those you always mean to get to, isn’t it? I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

message 16: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahbethie) | 8 comments Shirley, Oliver Twist and The Picture of Dorian Gray are good. Kim is on my TBR list and I’d be happy with that choice.

I’m confused by the question marks. Yes, Oliver Twist was nominated by another member. Are you seconding? Questioning the nomination? Debating the existence? Accidentally hit the ? Key? All of the above?

Perhaps you meant: Oliver Twist!!!

;-)
