OldBird | 18 comments Currently there are three editions of a book. The firsttwo are listed under a catch-all profile, while the third is with the "real" GoodReads author profile.

I'm not sure how to link these up, as I'm not certain where the name-spacing (as stated in the manual) is different between these two profile names. Would any experienced librarian be able to explain this? I'd appreciate the pointer. Thank you for your time.

Renske | 11546 comments The easiest way to get the right number of spaces when you already know the right profile is by going to a book on the right profile, go to the edit page and copy the name from the author slot and paste in the author slot of the book you need to move. From the edit page, you will copy the right number of spaces. (For a non-Goodreads author you can also copy from the edit page of the profile)

I moved this book and combined it.
