The angels are ranked in three choirs, with 9 separate rankings, three per choir. The most powerful rank are Angels, followed by Archangels and Principalities, and so on down the list. All angels are immortal, have wings and can fly, and are strong and fast. However, the specific powers an angel possesses depends both on their rank and their demon partner.

[The Angel Species]
The Angels are a divine species created to be the embodiment of good and light. They combat demons, the embodiment of chaos and evil. All angels are humanoid, although they may have strange eye colours. All angels can move with incredible speed and strength, and many of them are skilled fighters. All angels have wings that let them fly, and wings are unique to each angel. Wings can be almost any size or style, but will tend to go along with the angel's personality. Larger angels tend to have larger wings, and smaller angels have smaller wings. The wings will come in a variety of colours and patterns, but all tend to be light, the darker wings reserved for demons.

[The Seven Heavenly Virtues]
The Seven Heavenly virtues are the seven angels partnered with the famed seven deadly sins. They are Archangels, but they each have an extra power. They can influence people to be more inclined to act towards their virtue, and they use this to help those that have been affected by the deadly sins.

[The Partnerships]
After the Angels won the most recent of the wars, they forced the demons to sign a pact, moving the demons' chaos into some semblance of order. Every demon and angel that were born would be equal partners, to better carry out their duties of keeping the balance. While the angels have an organized hierarchy and ability system, the demons held on to as much of their chaotic nature as they could. Therefore, the demon's powers are mostly decided by their angel partner's rank/powers. Their powers will either be the same, opposite or similar, but will always be able to fight against each other.


[Creating an Angel Character]
When you create your angel character, please read through all of the information above and below, and decide on their rank. Then, choose a name here. The next thing you should do is find someone to make a partner for your character. This should be done before you finish your character, to ensure all angels have a partner.

Angels

The Angel's powers centre on strong natural forces and controlling other abilities.

• Photokinesis: User can create, shape and manipulate visible light, commonly referred to simply as light, is electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye, and is responsible for the sense of sight.

Primary properties of visible light are intensity, propagation direction, frequency or wavelength spectrum, and polarisation, while its speed in a vacuum (299,792,458 meters per second/186,000 MPS) is one of the fundamental constants of nature. Visible light, as with all types of electromagnetic radiation (EMR), is experimentally found to always move at this speed in vacuum.

In common with all types of EMR, visible light is emitted and absorbed in tiny "packets" called photons, and exhibits properties of both waves and particles. This property is referred to as the wave–particle duality. The study of light, known as optics, is an important research area in modern physics.

• Power Bestowal: The user can give superpowers to others. Depending on what the user wishes, the effect can either be permanent or temporary.

• Power Absorption: The ability to absorb another person's powers, leaving that person powerless.

• Precognition: Users have the ability to foresee possible futures and observe what may happen. As knowledge of the future invariably causes that future to change, visions of the future are subject to frequent shifting. While not being able to select futures or travel through time, these visions may assist in possible courses of action.

• Chronokinesis: The user can manipulate the time in general area or a specific target in various manners, the basics revolving around accelerating, slowing, stopping and even rewinding or looping. The range of area affected is proportional to the mastery of the user, with top levels can affect the entire space and time continuum.

Since "time" exists and flows within "space", the two are interrelated, and by manipulating time, one is basically distorting space proportionally. The effects of this relative distortion can vary, such as controlling time of a mere object or person may not affect the space they reside in, but to twist the time-stream of a region of space can cause the area itself to warp. Due to time existing in one space, manipulating it cannot affect another dimension.

Archangels

The Archangels' powers are centred around Life and Death. These powers may include:

• Animation: The user can give a life to inanimate objects/substances, animating the objects to act/move on their own accord out of the user’s control; however they do seem to work in tandem to their animator.

• Healing: User can restore biotic organisms to their optimal health, curing broken or withered organisms, wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and diseases/poisoning. Though the user may potentially heal any form of bodily damage, the patient must be alive, even if hanging by a thin thread, in order to be healed; once the patient has died, it would transcend healing and would require resurrection instead.

• Fatal Touch: The user's body can kill anyone that touches it. It is activated when an Archangel needs it.

• Death Vision: The user is capable of sensing the coming of death, able to determine when someone is dead or dying or if others have died in a specific location. While Lordships share this power, they do not have it to nearly the extent that Archangels do. Archangels can see a person's lifespan, up until and past the events of their death. Archangels will know where, when, why, and how a person dies, along with where their soul will go afterwards.

• Life Vision: To a certain extent, Archangels can tell how a person's life will turn out. They can see the life force of everything, and can tell if a person is pregnant long before any pregnancy tests or ultrasounds. They can tell what the immediate events of a person's life are, large milestones like getting married, graduating, or giving birth, down to the date, location and time that it will happen.

Principalities

The Principalities have elemental powers. These may include:

• Air Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate air, common name given to the layer of atmospheric gases and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth's gravity, and wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.

Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods, neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it, making it an invisible and versatile weapon that is very difficult to block and dodge.

• Earth Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate any "Earthen" elements including most solid objects, specifically all minerals and mineral compositions regardless of their state (mountain, boulder, sand or dust), dirt, soil, etc.

• Fire Manipulation: Users can create, shape and manipulate fire, the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products, flame being the visible portion of the fire. Depending on the substances alight, and any impurities outside, the color of the flame and the fire's intensity will be different.

• Water Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate water, inorganic compound with liquid, gas (steam, water vapour), and solid (ice) states, including changing them from one state to other.

• Electric Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate electricity, a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles (such as electrons or protons) which give the user control over electric fields, electric charges, electric currents, electronics, and electromagnetism.

Powers

The Powers have shapeshifting abilities. These can include:

• Malleable Anatomy: The user can modify the physiological features of oneself and others, including face, body, skin, or size (to limited degree) to disguise or look like another person. While removing/concealing a body-part, like a finger, eye, etc., is possible, the user can't actually add anything new to the body-shape. They can however, shift the flesh to a remarkable degree, although the changed being will always be recognizably as a member of their species.

• Animal Morphing: The user can transform into animals, as well as use the abilities, traits and appearance/physiology of animals by rearranging their own DNA structure. Users may be able to transform into alien animals and/or animals they might have never encountered, such as Dinosaurs. However, Powers will commonly bond with one animal form, and in often cases will be limited to that animal, after the bond has been made. (For example, a power that has bonded with the shape of a lion will probably only be able to shift into a lion.)

• Dermal Armour:The users has or can generate an innate armor as a part of their body, which is resistant to attacks, harm or pain and temperature extremes. This armour is commonly invisible and moulds to the skin when the wielder needs it, without inhibiting motion.

• Reactive Adaptation: The ability to develop adaptations, powers, or skills in response to immediate threats. As soon as the threat has been eliminated, the adaptation disappears.

Lordships

The Lordships have emotional and perceptive abilities. These can include:

• Aura Reading: The user can perceive auras, normally invisible fields of energy that surround every living thing, this can be used to sense emotions, health, power levels, or the targets moral alignment. They may also be able to sense auras surrounding inanimate objects under special circumstances.

• Emotion Manipulation: User can sense and manipulate the emotions, including feelings, moods and their affects, of themselves, people, animals and other creatures, whether by increasing, decreasing, causing or otherwise channeling emotions, even manifesting the emotional energy to physical level.

• Virtue Manipulation: User can sense and manipulate the virtues of themselves and of other people, whether increasing, decreasing, causing or otherwise chancing envy, even manifesting the emotional energy to physical level.

• Death Vision: The user is capable of sensing the coming of death, able to determine when someone is dead or dying or if others have died in a specific location. At times, this extends to seeing the names and lifespans of those who's faces the user sees.

Authorities

The Authorities have powers based around nature.

• Plant Manipulation: Users can create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, fruits and flowers. The user can cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk", mutate plants by rearranging DNA structure and revive withered or dead plants.

They can use their power for defense and support by growing plants from the ground and make them sprout seeds/fruits/berries, or even to possibly use plant chemicals to heal people or objects or manipulate their properties for a wide range of effects.

• Animal Manipulation: The user can control animals, they can set stampedes onto attackers, get animals to fetch things. Users may be able to call forth hoards of rats or insects to wipe out a crop, or to encourage bees to replant it.

• Weather Manipulation: User can sense, create, shape and manipulate weather, ie. the meteorological patterns, creating rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, sleet, fog and temperature changes. This includes the ability to generate various natural phenomena or control the intensity of the weather in highly concentrated (inside room) or vastly extended (continental) areas.

• A limitation of the Authorities' abilities are that they can never be used offensively, only peacefully and defensively.

Thrones

The thrones have mental capabilities. These may include:

• Omnilingualism: User can speak, write, understand and communicate in any language including computer codes, languages they have never been heard before, sign language (even lip-reading), illegible words, and backwards speech and writing with little or no training. User may even communicate with animals or read body language.

• Telekinesis: Users can manipulate objects with their mind. Telekinesis is one of the basis of many superpowers that are based on "controlling/manipulating", it may evolve to the point that a Telekinetic can control anything at a subatomic level.

• Telepathy: The ability falls into two categories: Telepathic Communication, which is the ability to transmit information from mind to another, and Telepathic Perception, which is the ability to receive information from another mind.

Cherubim

The Cherubim have the power of Illusion. These powers may include:

• Illusion Manipulation: User can create and manipulate illusions, causing people to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. Some users can create complex and detailed worlds, others may be able to only alter the way they or the target are perceived.

• Illusion Awareness: Users are completely aware at all times of the true reality around them, potentially seeing through any optical and/or mental illusions that others attempt to deceive them with.

• Dream Walking: The user is capable of entering the dreams of others. Some users may be able to enter daydreams. The user can also alter dreams; their setting and content. The user will commonly appear in the dream.

Seraphim

The Seraphim have powers based on spirit. These may include:

• Intangibility: User is able to move through objects and ignore most physical effects in their way, exact means how this is done vary between slipping partially into other dimensions, being able to make their own atoms move between other atoms, being non-physical being of energy, vibrating their molecules into a new quantum frequency, etc. Regardless the user is able to ignore most attacks, physical dangers and gravity.

• Possession: Users may take the body of another, by stealing their motor functions and senses. Users may or may not have to leave their own body for this to take place. The Seraphim must have permission from the person in order to possess their body.

• Sonic Scream: User can generate extremely powerful scream of a high amplitude for a variety of purposes.

Hierarchy
Demons have no hierarchy, while there are definitive power differences. Embracing their chaotic nature, they instead live without laws or order. A demon's power now often depends on the rank of their angel partner. Any angels from the third choir have three distinctive powers, their demon partners will be the same way. Angels from the second choir have four distinctive powers, and this again corresponds to the demons. The same goes for the first choir, who have five powers. Demons, like angels, are exceptionally strong and fast. Most demons have wings, and they are unique to the demon. Demons may also have unnatural eye colours.

-Note that the seven heavenly virtues are a part of the first choir (archangels, with slightly varied abilities), so the seven deadly sins each have five powers.

To fall was one of the only options given to angels unhappy with their lives. By doing this, their wings burned, they lost all memory of their lives and, while still immortal, were stuck on earth with no more power than a regular human. Angels would wake up on earth not knowing where they were or what their name was, and many relied on their demon partner to clue them in to life. However, many demons used this to recruit fallen angels to their side, telling them that heaven and angels were the enemy. Fallen angels still posses their powers, but don't know how to access them, and this is something demons cannot help with. However, fallen angels may be more intuitive to feelings, or be more naturally athletic, or otherwise access their powers in small ways.

The nephilim are a species of half human, half angel or demon. They were outlawed by the angels at the same time the pact was signed, and angels were assigned to hunt them down. Only about ten are left of the supernatural species, and they choose their side and attempt to spark the new war that demons are fighting for--killing angels or demons, depending on their side. Nephilim are naturally enhanced in every area--they have stronger senses, a longer lifespan, and are stronger and faster than humans, although not to the extent that angels and demons are.
