Mystery - two kids find a UFO while on a bike ride at night

I don't remember much about this book. It's in a series of 3 books I believe. The beginning of the book starts with two boys going on a bike ride at night, when they see a UFO crash land. I believe the story took place in Oregon. I read this book around 2013-2014, with the most recent title, and the conclusion to the story coming out around the same time.
