AnneMarie | 3 comments My daughter is 32 yo and faintly remembers a book we had when she was around 4-5 yo. What made it memorable to her is the pictures of babies. It might not necessarily have been a new sibling book but we used it for that and she wants it for her children for that purpose. I really don’t remember it clearly but the pictures were most likely illustrated and not pictures of real babies. That was back bf the internet when readers were at the mercy of what the local bookstore buyers stocked their shelves with.

One suggestion is to search Worldcat.org for old children's books. For example:

http://www.worldcat.org/advancedsearch > Keywords: illustrations babies | 1970-1992 ? | Juvenile | Fiction | Book | English

Can you describe the illustrations - realistic/cartoony/cute, simple/detailed, painted watercolors/bold graphics, sunny/dark/muted colors/black & white?

Do they remind her of another illustrator or picture book author?
