Ana Pinton | 15 comments Hi, how can I post a picture of a cover of a book in my possession? It's for this book:

Michael Fuchs | 10 comments I think you can't, unfortunately. Go to Discussion > Book Cover Help, find the small link "new topic" (to the right, over the list of all topics), and do what I did in the first post of this thread, ask for a librarian to add the cover (I had a different site than amazon rejected, so try to find your book cover at amazon).

Direct link to "new topic" in Book Cover Help:

Ana Pinton | 15 comments Thanks for your reply. I explained myself badly, sorry! I know the librarians have to add it, but how can I post a picture of the book I have that is missing the cover on Goodreads?

Michael Fuchs | 10 comments Ah, I see. I don't know, sorry. Are you sure you can't find the cover on Amazon or another acceptable website? Try searching by ISBN number...

Olivia (livka) | 7927 comments Ana,
It's totally acceptable for you to add the cover pictures to your profile and post the links here.
Librarian will be able to grab it from there and you can then remove them.

Hamilton Crane | 8 comments I was going to ask the same question as Ana, but I don't understand how to act on Olivia's answer: how do I "add the cover pictures to your profile"? There's no obvious "upload image" link on my Profile page ... or am I just not recognising it?

I also have a "new" (1975 UK) edition of a listed book that I would like added, so will I be able to use the same approach (i.e. giving the details on this thread and the cover image via my profile), or do I need to raise the question under a different thread?
Many thanks, HC

Hamilton Crane | 8 comments Thanks Rivka,

I have used the link and uploaded the first cover picture, but I won't upload the others until I discover whether I've done this correctly - and whether someone has been able to use it on

I see that the picture has arrived on a page labelled "Hamilton Crane > Photos", but I still don't know how to reach this from my Profile page (I can't see a "Photos" heading - though there is one for Videos, which seems odd), so any more clues would be appreciated.
Many thanks,

Melanie (mvalente89) | 1770 comments You can find the photos you upload here.

You can then click on the little thumbnail of the picture you want which will bring you to its page where you can copy the URL for librarians.

On user profiles, there is a link below your profile photo that says "More Photos", but because you have an author profile I'm not sure how to find that link. I found it by going to my own photo section and just substituting your user # with mine at the end of the link.

I've added your photo to the book listing. You can now delete it from your photos.

Hamilton Crane | 8 comments That's wonderful Melanie, thank you! (I really did need step-by-step instructions, and that's what you provided).

I have now uploaded the other images, so please could you (or another librarian) add them to the following pages: needs to go on to replace the Harper & Row cover image. needs to go on to replace the Berkley cover image, and ... needs to go on to replace the Berkley cover image.
I believe I've been able to create complete with correct image, but please let me know if it looks wrong.
Many thanks, HC

Hamilton Crane | 8 comments Similarly, please would one of you helpful librarians add to

I succeeded in creating the entry, but didn't notice the add image box at the time, and now the system won't let me add it in retrospect (which seems odd, considering that it would have let me put the wrong image on if I'd wanted to ...)
Many thanks, HC
