Happy August and welcome to our next installment of the Dark Tower Series!

I am all ready to start after the ending of #3.....this should be a great book!

Helen Reading The House of Special Purpose for my book group then I'll read book three and this back to back. I won't be left behind...

lol Helen-Good luck! (So far I like this one the most!)

Helen 14% in. More Americanisms in this one - had to actually look up turnpike. Enjoying it so far.

Andrew (andrew619) | 14 comments I started today and, also if I am at the beginning, this is a good sequel. It's wonderful find all the now familiar characters and I hope there are new wonders waiting before the Black Tower.

Roger (rogerbixby) | 1 comments This is my favorite of the first four and the best of his books I've read.

Andrew (andrew619) | 14 comments I am about halfway through, and I understand why people here consider this one of the best of the series. I like it very much, with his western style in a post-apocalyptic scenario, mixed with fantasy background.
