Sorry about that, David! It should be working now!

message 4: by Corey (new)

Corey Browder | 1 comments Blood Rites is so much fun all the vampire hunting and whatnot!

message 5: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Johnson (geekyginger87) | 1 comments Storm Front and Changes so far are my favorite ones. It is super hard to actual pick a favorite because I have been reading this series for well over a decade now. But Storm Front I found as a senior in high school so it holds a special place in my heart because it introduced me to such a wonderful series! I remember just barreling through the book because I just couldn’t put it down. But Changes though...shew that one got me in the heartstrings. I remember being in tears while listening to the last chapters via the amazing audiobook reading by James Marsters to just sitting in shock after that ending! I am looking so forward to the next one!

message 6: by Erica (new)

Erica (synderryn) I'm not all caught up on the books - haven't read the last two - but I think so far Summer Knight and Changes are at the top of my list

message 7: by Bardbooks (new)

Bardbooks | 2 comments Storm Front ... The first book in a series like this is always magical, but even more so with Dresden.

message 8: by Erin (new)

Erin (myst_001) | 1 comments Cold Days is one of my favorites, although I love all of them really!

message 9: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Faith (amandafaith) | 1 comments I love them all, but I think Changes is my favorite. I think this series is brilliant.

message 10: by Charles (new)

Charles Bell | 1 comments I think my favorite is Summer Knight.

message 11: by Jack (new)

Jack Skinner | 1 comments Dead Beat, the first one I read, is still my favorite. It was an excellent introduction to the series, which is weird for book 7.

message 12: by Sheri (new)

Sheri (jett_roses) | 1 comments I really liked Death Masks. We meet more Knights of the Cross, see more of Michael's family, and and see Harry fighting temptation of the coin.

message 13: by Adam (new)

Adam Plunkett | 1 comments Hard to pick a favorite, but Proven Guilty and Changes are fantastic!

message 14: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylor90) | 1 comments Man hard to choose a favorite but I really like Blood Rites

message 15: by Carley (new)

Carley (fandomjumper) | 1 comments Summer Knight! But I haven't read them all yet. My boyfriend loves Dead Beat and he's the biggest Dresden fan I know! So he must be right!

message 16: by Jesse (new)

Jesse (wheels_57) | 1 comments Haven't read any yet, but think I should start at the beginning

message 17: by David (new)

David (dassaf4) | 21 comments I hadn't read any Butcher before today, but I just started "Working for Bigfoot", a collection of three Dresden Files novellas that came in a Humble Bundle a while back. So far so good!

message 18: by Alex (new)

Alex Tuten | 1 comments The first book will always have a place in mg heart for getting me hooked, dead beat set the standard for the awesome to come, changes, because holy hell changes, and skin game for Harry's brilliant gambit and payoff of his character growth.

message 19: by Jason (new)

Jason Blackstone | 2 comments Death Masks.. the Knights, the Denarians. Lasciel!

message 20: by Brandon (new)

Brandon Black | 1 comments I haven't read through the whole series yet, but my favorite one so far was Summer Knight. That will be a hard one to beat for me.

message 21: by Richard (new)

Richard Wegner | 1 comments "The building was on fire, and it wasn't my fault" Blood Rites is probably my favorite, because so much happens here. He finds his brother, gets Mouse, Laura becomes head of the house, not to mention this is also the first book he actually had the spells laid on his duster. This book set the stage for many to come. (Plus he works on a porno :)

message 22: by Benjamin (new)

Benjamin Willson | 1 comments Storm Front, because it was my first Dresden Book. I didn't know it was a series until after I read it, and it opened up a whole new idea of what a modern wizard could be!

message 23: by Jerry Walter's (new)

Jerry Walter's | 1 comments I'm a huge fan of The Dresden Files. I've always said that my favorite thus far is Changes. Never has a title been so fitting. It literally changed everything we knew and came to expect from a Dresden adventure, right down to the naming scheme. It hooks you with it's opening line, and it rarely let's up the whole way, right down to one of the most emotional endings I have ever read. It's not just a great Dresden book, but a great book all around.

message 24: by Billy (new)

Billy B. | 1 comments Dead Beat and Grave Peril we're great. But I think that Proven Guilty was my favorite. Molly and Charity's challenges. Dresden fighting off movie villians. Storming Archtis Tor with crew in toe. And at the end, the whole trial. This is a huge challenge, every book was practically increasingly better. So it became more about the events.

message 25: by Iamspectre (new)

Iamspectre | 1 comments I just really love the series and its hard to pick a true favorite, but if I really had to pick a favorite it would probably be Grave Peril, with what it does for the series. I feel it really sets the pace for the series from then on and just gives it so much more than it had before.

message 26: by Eddy (new)

Eddy Muniz | 1 comments Dead Beat with the zombie TRex is awesome aswell as white knight and skin game. I even got a picture of Harry riding zombie dino Sue that Jim butcher signed for me when I saw him at a NYC comic con he was wearing a burger king crown for some reason😂

message 27: by Hunter (new)

Hunter On | 1 comments Aloha, My favorite Dresden book is Blood Rites. Mouse and the back stories of all the familial relationships added so much richness and depth to the series.

message 28: by Ian (new)

Ian Fahning | 1 comments Either changes or skin game, but it is so hard to choose because every book is so damn good.

message 29: by Wesley (new)

Wesley | 1 comments All of them, the stories become more intricate, more ensnaring with each book. I've been reading them since Storm Front came out and can't quit until the series is finished, definitely one of my favorite series.

message 30: by Antonio (new)

Antonio Estrada (dhevi) | 1 comments Storm Front for certain.

message 31: by Matthew (new)

Matthew Patlan | 1 comments As much as it broke my heart, Small Favor is my favorite.

message 32: by Kitrina (new)

Kitrina | 1 comments Dead Beat because POLKA WILL NEVER DIE!

message 33: by Samuel (new)

Samuel (samremp) | 2 comments Storm Front because it got me hooked, Skin Game because Michael gets back in the fight.

message 34: by Alma (new)

Alma | 1 comments I love them all!

message 35: by Tony (new)

Tony | 1 comments I would have to go with Changes. If there was ever a short simple title that summed up what happened I a book, this would be it.

message 36: by Fred (new)

Fred (spospartan104) | 1 comments I'd have to go with "Dead Beat" for the fun of it and range of emotions or "Changes" because Duh.

"Skin Game" is close to the top

message 37: by Brent (new)

Brent | 1 comments I loved them all! Summer Knight! Changes is great.

message 38: by Jason (new)

Jason McDonald (jmcdx18) | 1 comments Changes is definitely my favorite, but I also love Dead Beat (and Sue!!!). The entire series has been amazing, and I cannot wait for Peace Talks. However long it takes to get the book will be worth it!

message 39: by Sam (new)

Sam | 1 comments Skin game is my favorite if just for the running Parkour joke.

message 40: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 1 comments I honestly cannot pick a favorite. The first two are my least favorite but that's like saying crunchy tacos are my least favorite tacos.

message 41: by Tamara (new)

Tamara (Anaia_Lionel) | 1 comments Oh this one is hard.

Grave Peril. You meet Thomas and Michale, you see cheesy vampire costume, dragons, chaos, Susan.

It kicks off a ton of plot.

message 42: by Chris (new)

Chris Townsend | 1 comments Death Masks gets my vote!

message 43: by Kateblue (new)

Kateblue It has to be Storm Front since I just started reading these. How I missed them for so long is beyond me!

message 44: by Jeramie (new)

Jeramie I think Storm Front is still my favorite. It may be because it was my introduction to Harry, but it was exciting and funny at the same time. I immediately knew I'd love the series.

I also really liked Changes.

message 45: by Patrick (new)

Patrick | 1 comments Definitely Dead Beat. Sue the zombie T-Rex, Butters' war cry "polka will never die", the kimmlerite healer. Loved all of it.

message 46: by Megan (new)

Megan (n3rdl3t) | 1 comments I loved turn cloak

message 47: by C (new)

C (hipkec) | 1 comments I don't know if it's my favorite yet, but I'm definitely enjoying Grave Peril.

message 48: by Amber (new)

Amber Shelton | 1 comments i have not finished reading all the dresden files so far dead beat is one of my favorites!

message 49: by Josh (new)

Josh | 1 comments Turn Coat is my favorite due mostly to my favorite line from the series "I don't plan on binding or banishing you, old ghost, I'm just gonna kick your ass up between your ears." and for Harry and Morgan reaching some kind of understanding.

message 50: by Craig (new)

Craig Grupp | 1 comments Dead beat was amazing!
