The band becomes really famous and tours in Europe i think. And she becomes crazy jealous of a new band member in the group and tries to kill him.

(view spoiler)[ Basically after she joins the band and falls in love with this guy, the band becomes famous off of one song with a creepy noise in the background no one can explain. whenever they play this particular song everything goes wrong. and once this new member joins the band she becomes crazy jealous of him and tries to kill him but she ends up dying instead. she becomes a ghost and you find out that she was the one who made the creepy noise when they recorded the song because, as a ghost, time is irrelevant and she can travel through time when she wants. the book ends with the band breaking up and the lead guy she falls in love with goes by a new name and still sings in bars (hide spoiler)]
