Random question: how do you do a status update on goodreads?

Um … you go to the home page and then under where it lists the books you’re reading it says in small green print: general update. Then you click on that and type something in. A status update is also just which book you’re reading, if you finished a book recently, if you marked a book to-read, stuff like that.
