I was kinda surprised when I reach the end this time, that it was over...

Sometimes, I feel like the main events in these books would just be a montage in a movie, since most things go so smoothly, it almost makes all the training a joke...

When characters die, I feel like I should have seen it coming (view spoiler)

Something about the way combat is written doesn't create much tension, the way it does in a Kate Daniels book, for example...

Still enjoying them, tho, so I'm in until book 7, like we discussed last month...

Choko (chokog) | 7674 comments I will start it tonight... Cool, I am in too😉

Choko (chokog) | 7674 comments I know this doesn't speak highly of me, but I am up to Ch 15 and enjoying it :-) The fight with the dog for the alpha status was hilarious. The bad dude is steering trouble, we are getting more and more characters and for now I am not lost... Overall it is pretty entertaining :-D!

The dog reminded me of The Unleashing... the MC's Dog gets saved and given a metal jaw when the MC is turned into a kind of Valkyrie...

Choko (chokog) | 7674 comments So, I finished it and it ended up being my favorite so far. I am glad we will do this arc together ʕ•ﻌ•ʔ
