Melinda was outside. It was dark a fog blanketed the Earth. Melinda swooped down and covered the flowers, platnts, and bugs with dew.
Claira's foot steps were muffled by the leaves on the forest floor. She smiled at a baby bird in the tree. she could hear the mothers call. Nothing made her feel happier than these walks in the forest.
Melinda did a loop in the air, in a good mood.
clairas feet pushed off the ground as she lept into the air. She jumped to the lowest tree branch and almost missed it but with a word the tree branch lowered and she swung from it. She grabbed the one above and pulled herself onto the branch. She looked over the trees and saw another fairy flying in circles.
Melinda giggled.
Claira gazed at the new fairy she had never seen her before. Then again she barely left the reaches of the forest.
Melinda swopped down again and spread more dew.
claira called out to her in her melodious voice. "Hello!"
Melinda looked up. "HI!"
"Im Claira. Who are you?" She asked.
"Melinda, the fairy of night!"
Tarest slowly guided his horse through the sodden ground of the forest, not willing to risk a twisted leg for the beast he had decided it would be best to travel on foot. It was also better to move silently that way and avoid the Kadar that was hunting the forest tonight.
((Kadar huh???))
((I couldn't think of any good monsters so... I made some up,))

((Reptilian monsters, four legged, with thick claws and poisonous breath. They blend into their surroundings so their prey won't know what hit them until it's too late, usually it takes them a long time to digest their food so they keep them inside their stomach for a good three or four days. They're extremely good for people to use as catchers or guard dogs, with their victim inside their stomach they'll go back to whatever master they have, then the owner will feed them whatever herb they use that will make the monster upchuck. Mostly just people retrievers I guess you could say))

"where do you live? If you don't mind me asking." She went on hastily. "I mean I haven't seen you before did you just move or something?"
"No...I live anywhere."
"Oh. I live here." She said gesturing to the woods below her. The forest is mine and I am the forest."
"We night fairies travel alot."
"Really? Have you been to many places?" She asked curiously
"Yes, Several." She said.
"Have you been to the sea?" She asked exitedly
