Cady, Walt's daughter and Branch's ex lover has been a staple in the series.

I also prefer the book Cady and I really liked her relationship with Vic's brother and family. They put a little more spice into the story.

Maranda Prigmore (anthrochick1931) I seriously need to read these books. LOL I always find that the characters are more close to home when reading. I do enjoy Cady. I think the actress that plays her is awesome.
