How do I update the book cover for Love at First Date by Susan Hatler? Thank you.

We don't update book covers. Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers because users like to shelve the edition that matches the one they own. Instead, if a book is re-released with a new cover but an old ISBN/ASIN, we create what's called an alternate cover edition (ACE). Then you as the author have the ability to set the new cover as the default edition, which is the one that appears on your author profile and in search results by title.

Do you need assistance with creating ACEs for other formats as well? You have all the necessary editing permissions to do so, but I understand they're a pain to make. Just let me know.

I need to update the cover on my book, Truth or Date. So I created An ACE: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

It wouldn't let me put the ASIN # in as it said that ASIN is already in use. So I left the ASIN off.

How do I combine the two editions so the correct (new) cover is showing?

Indeed, you can't put the ASIN in the dedicated field. Instead, please add it in a librarian note and the description.

Hi Utopian,

I can only find one edition of Truth or Date now, and it's the one with the incorrect cover. Can you tell me how to find the Truth or Date option with the cover I added?

Also, when I choose the edition with the new cover as primary, will it still show the description (as it wasn't necessary for me to add it to the edition with the new cover)?

Also, I have a lot of covers to change. Do I always need someone to combine the editions for me?
