Here you can start discussing pages 95- 188 of Joyland!

Edit: As we all have different editions and this book has no chapters Sarah and I thought it would be a good idea to add the sentence we are starting each section from.

This middle section is starting from the sentence: 'Hear-hear!" Tom said, raising his own can.'

Oooo Madame Fortuna’s predictions are coming true! Can’t wait to see how this story will develop!

Anyone else starting to feel like the anonymous killer may be closer then Jonesy thinks?

Tiffany B. | 11 comments I didn’t get that feeling at all!!! I am just wrapped up in the story I don’t know where it’s going. It’s hard to comment though because I’m reading on kindle with no pages (and no chapters) and don’t want to spoil in the wrong section so I’ll just save my comments until the end.

Jillian Martinson | 24 comments Not gonna lie when jonesy saves the little girl. I fell in love. What a great yet odd character. How can you not love him and feel for him!

Hey everyone! As we all have different editions and this book has no chapters Sarah and I thought it would be a good idea to add the first sentence of each section we are starting from. The pages should match up if you have a Hard Crime Illustrated edition.

Page 1: 'I had a car, but on most days in that fall of 1973 I walked to Joyland from Mrs Shoplaw's Beachside Accommodations in the town of Heaven's Bay.'
Page 95: '"Hear-hear!" Tom said, raising his own can.'
Page 188: 'The photo showed Eddie and a plain-faced women standing in the weedy front yard of an anonymous tract house.'

Wow...just wow! Stephen King does it again. I was not expecting the ending.

Has anyone else finished the book yet? I need to chat about this book!

Jillian Martinson | 24 comments But this isn’t the ending section so don’t comment here

Sorry I posted in the wrong section!

Jillian Martinson | 24 comments It seems to be a thing in this book. Next book we will all figure it out haha :)
