reading the series in order?

i picked this randomly at a sale. do you have read these in order to enjoy them all? or able you to read them without starting from the beginning?

I read her newest book first then went back and started at the beginning. Some of the characters reappear but you won't have to read them in order. They're all quite different and entertaining!
Love this series. I read the whole series and wish there were more.
I'd suggest reading them in order since characters reappear throughout the hockey series.
But, if not knowing the background of some characters doesn't bother you, then just jump in.
