This book is a timeless love story where ironically time is something the main characters lack. Natasha, is a girl who believes strictly in science and facts, whereas Daniel is a poet who believes in fate and love. The two meet on the streets of New York when Daniel is on his way to a Harvard interview and Natasha is at risk of being deported to Jamaica in 24 hours. Though she does not believe in love, her point of view changes throughout the book with Daniel’s persistence to get to know her. Will Natasha find a way to stay in the U.S? Will they make their love last? Or will time run out?

If you are looking for a love story, this book is worth reading. I did enjoy reading it, however I would not consider it one of my favorites. I felt that there was something lacking, perhaps a unique factor. I felt that I knew what was going to happen throughout the whole book because it was very cookie cutter. Although, the very end was not what I had expected which almost made up for the rest. Also, I liked the diverse set of characters. The characters were not the everyday characters you would find in other books or movies. Overall, this book was a good read, but maybe don’t put it at the top of your list.

This book was simply AMAZING. I cannot wait to see the movie. I love the way Nicola Yoon writes. She pulls you in with these quirky, heartfelt characters, in these diverse relationships that make you fall completely in love with the story.

Nicola Yoon is a great author, her writing got me into my feelings, and she will have your feelings going high and low. I LOVE this book. It's one of my favorite books.
