Hello everyone! Life got the best of me and I haven’t really been posting much! Nicole and I have talked about doing a readathon in order to help us all along in getting our numbers down. There are five challenges and we have seven days to complete them. I will be attempting to post daily updates and I hope that you all do as well this way we can see one another’s progress!

The challenges are:
Read a book with less than 100 pages
Read a book that has a small spine (within 1cm or 1/2 inch)
Read a short story or a story in a bind up
Start five books within the week
Read parts of three books(50-100 pages) within one day or read an entire book in one day if that works better for your reading habits

Obviously these are up to interpretation but they are meant to encourage us all to read multiple smaller more manageable books within one week.

This readathon will take place from June 11th through the 17th from midnight on the 11th till 11:59 on the 17th within your own time zone.

Here is a formula Nicole gave to me and suggested we follow! This way we can all keep one another posted on what we have read/finished throughout any particular day. I will be updating here as well as over on the TBR0by19 twitter account.

I’m super excited and can’t wait to see all of the TBR piles!

Whoop whoop, I'm so excited!
I have already chosen a few books for the challenges ;)
(You should also mention that for the starting of the 5 books in the challenge, it is not necessarily mandatory to also finish those within the week).
I will be posting my TBR when the readathon is a bit closer ^^

Here is my final update for the evening before I head to bed!! I decided to complete the “Read A Book With 100pgs” challenge. I picked Hotel Valhalla for that even though it is more that 100 because it’s basically a guide book and didn’t take long at all to fly through! Here’s to the rest of the week!

Hey everyone! The readathon is over! (and has been for a few days...oops!!)

Here is the progress I ended up with...
Total pages read: 392
TBR:
1) For Magnus Chase: Hotel Valhalla, Guide to the Norse Worlds ✔️
2) The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
3) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ✔️
4) Magnus Chase: The Hammer of Thor
5) The Complete Fairytales of Hans Christian Anderson
Books finished: 2
Challenges completed: 3

I finished the Read a Book with less than 100 pages (Hotel Valhalla), Read a Short Story (Hans Christian Anderson), and read parts of a book/read a book in one day(Hotel Valhalla).

I did only finish two books and Fantastic Beasts didn't necessarily meet a challenge but it did mean I finished two whole books this past week as well as started my en-devour of reading all of HCA's works.

Please let me know if anyone would like to do another one at any point! I will probably aim to do one in September or October so that we have a bit of time to recover from BookTubeAThon at the beginning of August.

Hope you are all doing well!! I will hope to keep everyone posted with my progress as well as that I would love to hear about your progress!
