Group things

Hi everyone!

Just a couple of things - I get a few emails or twitter notifications from book reviews/groups online, and this one just came out: https://bookriot.com/2018/05/21/28-fa...

I thought that maybe after the book we are selecting now, we could look at mystery as a genre, maybe even one with a female lead, as in the list in the link above. Just a thought, happy to go with whatever genre the group is interested in of course.

Also, I noticed that there is a link to tweet the group to twitter, is the group happy for me to do that? I'm not saying that we'll necessarily get any other members, but might be worth putting it out there in a different format than goodreads or the original meetup - though on that, I'm also happy to reopen meetup for a short time, just to see if others would be interested to join this way. Again, if the group is happy for me to do these things.

Mystery sounds good. I think it's a great to switch up the genres each meet up. Tweeting the group is a good idea, thanks Mel. Should we set up a group Twitter account? That way we can all tweet book suggestions and ideas for future meet ups, while opening up to potential members : )

A mystery sounds like a great idea and I like the idea of one with a female lead.

I think twitter is also a good idea. It means we could tweet authors and let them know we were reading their books. A group twitter also sounds like a good idea. We could great a group gmail address maybe and use this.

I am also a member of different facebook groups so I could mention the book club on there as well to see if it generates any more interest.
