I’m looking for a book that I read a couple of years ago.
The book I’m pretty sure was part of a series and I read the whole series. It was about two friends who ended up in a relationship together I’m pretty sure the male characters name was Nat/Nathanial. They spilt for a while and he takes a job somewhere else doing artistic work. She finds him and tell him she loves him and all of that and the start a relationship. They end up getting pregnant and during a wedding or charity event of some sort they go to a store near by the hotel and purchase a stuffed animal because she is pregnant. Then he records a message on the stuffed animal that talks. On their way home they are in a car accident where he and the unborn child are killed and she survives. Later in the series she is living with her brother and his friend Jack (jackson) and ends up falling in love with him and they adopt a child.

I’m pretty sure there is a spin off series about the adopted child as well.
