The third book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Percy, Annabeth, Thalia and Grover are trying to to rescue to half blood children from a boarding school when they are attacked by a manticore. Artemis and her Hunters show up to assist. Annabeth vanishes and soon Artemis does too while hunting a dangerous beast. The book was pretty much non stop action. I enjoyed getting to know Thalia some and that the author brings up some lesser known Greek myths. There isn't a lot of character development but the series is fun and I plan on continuing to the end.

I love this series, glad you're enjoying it. If you want to know more about the characters there also in the series he wrote after this one The Heroes of Olympus which is fun too.
