Sophia | 2 comments It takes place in the 50s(?) and all I remember is once scene:
There is a black girl and a white boy and they are in the house of an old white woman. The white woman is racist, but likes that the black girl plays piano for her. Then the old white lady thinks she is going to die so she says this long prepared monologue. But she does not die. So she says "Aw hell, get me a cream soda." The children leave the room to get a cream soda and when they return her dead. They tell the pastor her final words about the cream soda, but at the funeral he lies and says the old ladies words were something like "the lord is my shepard"
