Welcome to the 2018 MishMash Challenge!

Use this thread to plan your challenge and track your progress.

The challenge begins on 1 June and lasts for 1 year. You can start at any time, using the books you finished from 1 June onward. However, please note that you must read a different book for each task (you can't use a book for multiple tasks), and books must be at least 150 pages long to count. Graphic novels are not allowed.

If you have any questions your suggestions, you can post them here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Happy reading and good luck!

Tasks
1. Read a book with a cover that is only red, black and white (grey is acceptable also).
2. Read a book whose author's first name and surname begin with the same letter.
3. Read a book with a title of more than 5 words.

Rowling who started out in Fantasy and then added crime, Anthony Horowitz who started with Children's books and then added crime, Carl Hiaasen etc. To complete the task, state the original and subsequent genre. It cannot just be a separate series within the same genre, it must involve an actual change in genre.
