Irma Joubert has a very unique style to her writing, which I really like.
Celeste Ng definitely wrote a beautiful story. the book is very rich in quotes and famous artists that I had not heard about. I need to buy the book now so that I can go back and look up these artists. :)

George Orwell, 1984
Mary Stewart, The crystal Cave, the Hollow Hills and the Last Enchantment
Ragnar Johansson, Snow Blind
So I am at 26 books. One book behind apparently.

I read the 'Light as a feather, stiff as a board' series and enjoyed it very much. I thought it was a great YA series and should please a lot of teenagers.
I read a book on the brain and body and how everything is connected. we are what we eat. that was allright.
I also read some of the Scarlet Pimpernel adventures. Funny that i had not read before. That was allright.
I also read some of the Arsene Lupin stories. These were also good. What a cheeky man.
I need a good book. I might read the Lost Queen by Signe Pike next.
These are the ones I have actually read this year:
C.J. Sansom, the Shardlake series (Lamentation, Heartstone, Dark Fire, Revelation, Sovereign, Dissolution) --> top notch series if you like mysteries and history combined. It is set at the time of Henry VIII, in good old England.
S.D. Sykes, Plague Land
L. Holeman, the Moonlit Cage and the Linnet Bird
T.A. Crosby, McKinnons' bride and MCKinnons' hope
B. Sanderson, The bands of Mourning
L.S. Parker, A long walk to water
K. Quinn, the Alice network
D. Gabaldon, the Space between
P. Modiano, Rue des boutiques obscures
M. Haag, the Templars: History and Myths
D. Liss, A Conspiracy of Paper
And I am currently reading Persomi, from Irma Joubert.
Goodreads tells me that I am right on track for my challenges. 18 books read so far. Another 32 to go.
