He said nothing, fearing that any word from him would just result in him getting burned by her. He continued through the forest, which offered some cover from the storm but not much.
She followed him silently, deciding not to say anything else because for once, she wasn't in the mood to pick a fight. For now.
“Where do you live?” He asked. Not curious, just … making sure he knew where o go so he could get rid of her. Yes. That was it.
"Not anywhere really. I've been traveling around. You?" If he was going to make an effort to put up with her, then she would do the same.
“Around.” He answered vaguely, echoing her.
She glared at him but followed him into the trees.
