Read this book about a decade ago, borrowed from my friend's mom and I think it was already an older book at that point. If I remember correctly it was a very simple cover, possibly red, with just the title and author's name, not much else, definitely not people on the cover.

Set in medieval Scotland or England. I remember that the man was a lord or something and he and his men were camped in the woods when they find this woman, who is somehow related to his enemy (possibly enemy's daughter) but he doesn't know that and then she ends up sewing up his thigh wound.

They end up going back to his castle, but he senses she is lying about her identity.

Also I think the first name she gave him is actually her name, she just doesn't tell him anything else.

(view spoiler)

Been a while since I read it, but do remember she hid her name because they were enemies
