The group voted to read the Young Adult nominee, Turtles All the Way Down, in June. The winner for this genre was The Hate U Give. Have you read any of the other nominees for this award? Which have you read and what did you think? Which was your favorite?

Do you plan to read any of them in the future? How about setting up a buddy read of one that you are interested in this month? Use this thread to discuss and find a buddy!

Schedule buddy reads here, then set up a separate thread to discuss.

Janina (sylarana) | 692 comments I tend to enjoy this genre a lot.

I've read

The Hate U Give me (which is fantastic)
History is All you Left me (also very good)
They Both Die at the End (same as every other Adam Silvera book: very amazing)
The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue (I love love love this one)

I plan to read:
Eliza and her Monsters
The Upside of Unrequited
The Inexplicable Logic of My Life
Goodbye Days

While I did like Looking for Alaska, John Green is a bit overrated in my opinion (or maybe I just didn't like The Fault in my Stars). So, I'm not really very interested in the Turtles one ...

Kirsten (kmcripn) | 32 comments I like YA, but mainly the dystopian/sci-fi side of the genre.
