What do you think of Lament and should I continue the triology ?

I loved this book! Wasn't so keen on the second one tho :(

Sammy Thank you for your opinions :)

I read the second book..I thought it was slightly better...but I don't think it was worth it.
Although it had it scenes that were somewhat funny.

Not really my thing. I got both books for my birthday so I just read the first one because of the person who gave them to me. Not because of the actual book itself. It took me some time to get trough Lament and I was really disappointed because Maggie Stiefvater has such a good style, but obviously, the writing style got as good as it is after these books. Personally, I loved Luke a lot, but I didn't get why he loved Dee. I thought that she was really annoying and I pretty much disliked her.

I read the first book because I like retellings of Tam Lin. It wasn't my cup of tea though. Not to say it wasn't good... it just wasn't for me. I recommend An Earthly Knight by Janet McNaughton. It is set in 12th century Scotland and has more of a classic plot.
