Mark Barnes (mark_barnes) | 246 comments This book has taken a non-English title/description, despite being originally written in English. Could that be fixed, please?

Abcdarian | 23392 comments The English editions have an English description; the German editions have a German description. All are combined. The default view edition will be the most often shelved, unless set otherwise by the author.

Mark Barnes (mark_barnes) | 246 comments Sorry for the late reply — I've been away.

If I click on the series link (, or the author link (, it's the German edition with the German description that shows up.

If I sort the editions list by number of ratings (I can't sort by popularity), the German editions are at the end of the list. In fact, the German edition only has 2 ratings, compared with 1,104 English ratings! So it doesn't make sense that the German edition is the default title/description.

lethe | 14841 comments Very strange! Unless for some reason the author made the German edition the default, I have no explanation for this.

Either way, it is not something librarians can do anything about.
