Ginny | 6 comments I've given myself a 50-book goal and I believe I'm off to a good start:

1. Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons Cold Comfort Farm - A little silliness to get me started reading again.
2. The Soul of Man Under Socialism by Oscar Wilde The Soul of Man Under Socialism - An Oscar Wilde essay which is, of course, well-written but naive.
3. The Code of Hammurabi by Hammurabi The Code of Hammurabi - A rather tedious read because it is just a list of laws and their punishments; however, a little eye-opening as well. These ancient laws covered everything from child support and divorce to minimum wage and building safety.
