I'm writing a challenge for myself for next year. For each book I finish in 2018, I use it to create a prompt for a book for 2019. Then I'll do the same thing next year, and make a glorious book chain!

* My partner and I have a running joke because in books that I read, the pets always die, and it's always the only thing that makes me cry. This is the first book I read this year where I remember the pet specifically surviving to the end!
